    Applied silicone grease to all of the suspension bolts in preparation for visiting the alignment platform next week.

    Both Right and Left drive shaft are now installed.


    Suspension bolts and nuts will be tightened to the spec once the car is lowered ...

    Left drive shaft refurbished.

    Time to put everything back in place.


    Before installing the drive shaft, cleaned the area around the wheel speed sensor.

    Each joint housing has been cleaned to this level for thorough inspection.


    Shaft being painted and placed white mark for the RH MT drive shaft.

    As seen on many UK based NSX, the drive shaft grease was already broken down and turned into ‘melted coffee ice cream’ resulting in lack of lubrication under heavy load.


    On this NSX, the ride height, suspension setup and the tyre/wheel combo are still within the OEM spec so it didn’t put excessive load on the drive shaft but when you change anything on the chassis setup, you must consider the overhaul interval ...
