  1. Bose Speaker AMP Service 01

    Before start removing the AMPs, carried out quick check and confirmed that all of the AMPs/speakers were still operating.


    Started to remove the speaker boxes at the left door and at the passenger foot well area.

    Nothing special here and just writing this to update the owner and also keeping the service record on the log book in the form of Photo CD.

    So, after the test driving session, drained the Eng oil and then extracted further 400cc from the top using the vacuum extractor.



    Without this procedure, old oil will be left inside the engine due to its layout. ...
  3. Test Driving session

    I normally prefer to turn the side lights or even the headlights On while driving owner’s NSX but with this one, I found that the right side dip beam bulb was dead.

    Therefore, decided to take just a short test driving session today.


    Will ask the owner on what he wants me to do with the light bulbs....



    Activated the ABS several times while the tyre was cold and the ABS pump only kicked in after exercising ...

    During the last Health Check, I noticed that there was a tiny up/down movement at the FL rack end.

    Also, from time to time, when I turn the steering wheel, I heard clicking sound.

    These are quite common issues on the power steering rack but in order to confirm that it was not caused by the loose rack end, opened up the rubber boot and checked the condition of locking washer ...

  5. Alignment Service 01

    As a standard procedure, before visiting the alignment platform, I would like to remove the adjuster bolts and nuts to confirm that they are not seized to the bush sleeve as well as to apply silicone grease.
