Time to put everything back on the car. Noticed that someone already tried to alter the position of the CAT by modifying the rubber mount. This method was noticed on several other areas. New exh. gaskets and self locking nuts. ...

However, I was worried about the long term strength/durability of the metal bar so decided not to do so and went for the more time consuming option. ...
Unless you take the engine out and set the engine/cylinder block upside down, you only have very short time to keep the oil pan mating surface oil free after wiping it down with the brake cleaner. Not much photos here as I was dealing with the liquid gasket which needs only 5min before it starts to cure so had to be really quick in installing everything. Once pre-installed the bolts and nuts, I prefer ...
The rubber gasket was not installed properly and misaligned resulting in oil pan not seating properly. In fact, it managed to cut through small part of the rubber gasket causing more leakage. From the service history, it looked like this was done while this NSX was in Japan. ...
I carried out the TB service on this NSX recently and as the result, there was no more oil leakage from the valve cover gasket area. Thus, the surface of engine/cylinder block above the oil pan was very dry. However, the top section of the oil pan was already wet all the way round even after it was cleaned recently so it is definitely leaking from the pan gasket area. ...
