    What a dirty front beam…..
    It should be the same colour as the floor.
    All the sticky black thingy is the road film, oil seepage, sand, etc….
    You don’t even want to see the bottom side…..
    It’s just black……

    The engine room cooling fan.
    Honda removed this in 1995 onwards for the MT models but kept it for the AT ones.







    I normally just remove this during the Engine Refresh unless it’s an

    Just keep preparing for the engine removal….





    Loosen the crank pulley bolt before taking the engine out.
    No drama as I already replaced this crank pulley for the owner in the past and
    followed the specific procedure before re-installing the pulley bolt so it came off
    without any issues.

    Warmed up the engine in order to carry out the compression check before
    start of the service.

    On installing the IG coils, I noticed that there was a small slit at the flex tube on
    one of the already repaired IG coil so will see what I can do or just replace it with
    the new/used one.

    Although I managed to push back all pistons at the front calipers,
    the movement was not consistent.

    And as expected, there is no way I can re-use them……


    None of the caliper slider pins were seized so it looked like someone serviced them in
    the past but not quite.
