Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Started to work on another NSX from around Thursday this week.
The service menu is to upgrade the 1st gen ABS to the latest spec, refresh the door window system, etc.


As I’m not going to touch the eng, gbox, suspension, brake calliper, etc during this service, only carried out brief test driving session before start removing any parts.
Some feedback to the owner.

As reported earlier, I received many parts from Japan when I placed the order before the parts price went up from 01/Jul onwards.

One of the parts was the latest ABS modulator and finally I managed to find some time testing it in preparation for the installation in the future.

As I already upgraded my ABS to the latest ...

Holders and clips installed, pipes in position but fittings are not torqued yet until all connections are made to fix the final position of each pipes to prevent them from twisting.

ABS modulator bracket installed and torqued.


Modulator briefly installed for positioning of pipes.

After removing most of the brake pipes under the bonnet, it’s time for the spaghetti juggling again.


You will need to install 8 new brake pipes.

You may need extra time if you have never done this before.

Once the old pipes are removed, it’s good time to clean the area as you won’t get so many opportunities to clean these areas.
