    There are several posts on here regarding the speed difference depending on
    the chassis colour.
    After driving well over 100+ NSX, I didn’t feel much difference in acceleration
    unless there were some modifications on the car.

    Still, being as the owner of Formula Red with Berlina Black roof,
    I hope it’s the fastest colour in my imagination.

    As I already knew about the head gasket issue, didn’t want to
    warm the engine up in preparation for the compression check and obviously,
    no test driving session.




    Instead, decided to carry out cold leakdown test.

    Eng oil was really black and there were lots of oil mist at the rubber joint
    between the TH body and the air box so the PCV valve may need replacing.
    It was very dirty any way.

    Despite the above fact and although it will still require extra time cleaning the
    internal parts, the rear bank was not too bad.

    As always, IAT sensor was covered in sticky blowby gunk.
    Cleaned it and will be installed with new o-ring.

    You guessed it right. I was still washing the engine for 2 days.....
    Finally, I’m happy with the 1st stage washing so that I can start
    removing the parts.
    As always, I don’t want to open the engine before cleaning it otherwise
    some debris will fall into the engine.
