    Vacuum leak check of the cooling system.

    Left it under vacuum for 45min and the needle didn’t move at all
    so happy with the result.

    Filled the system with Honda Type-2 coolant that is blue.
    The manual says this Type 2 coolant is good for 5 years but
    based on what I saw (small rust) on several WP,

    Not much to report while working on the
    cooling system refresh.

    It’s really time consuming task and not an ideal service in the
    cold weather but no choice.

    Just keep removing the old parts and replace them with the
    new ones.

    Seems like the site is back online again........







    For some reason,
    all face lifted models showed almost no clearance between
    the edge of the head light plastic cover and the front bumper.

    This one was the same.

  4. Final Touch

    Checked the coolant level and then went out for
    the test driving session with CCU set at 32degC.

    Happy with the result so reset the ECU and
    let the engine to idle with no load for about 15min.

    Didn’t like the big play of the TH cable so adjusted it.

    Spent some time removing the glue or liquid gasket that
    was applied to hold the rear upper interior trim in place.
    Installed proper clips and now the trim sits flush
    ...

    New aluminium gasket at the drain plugs under the floor.








    Three hoses under the centre floor replaced.
    One of the most common place for the hose to burst.
