Normally, I would have started washing the engine
immediately after taking the engine out but didn’t feel
comfortable spending hours considering my condition so
decided to check the fitting of rear bank header.

First, have to remove the exiting manifold.

Doing bit of catch up updating the blog as
I have been not well recently but couldn’t
take break due to other projects.

    So, the engine is out.

  3. O2 sensor 02

Time to tackle the rear O2 sensor.

I really didn’t like the state of one of the bolt at
    the lower heat shield.
The bolt head was heavily corroded and
    almost like round shape.

If I have enough time, I’ll just break it off and deal with it
once the manifold is off the engine but ideally,
I would like to replace the sensor without removing the
    manifold to save some time.

Managed to go out for the test driving session for the
first time after replacing the radiator.

I don’t know what’s happening with the weather
    over the last few years.....

Last year, we managed to do BBQ in late March early April
and then just wet weather to follow.

This year, we are still getting snow......

Any way back to the service.

For this NSX, I on purposely didn’t carry

After spending some time on how to fire up the engine under current condition,
re-connected the O2 sensor and started the preparation for the fire up.

While trying to re-install the battery, found lots of packing foam under it.
This is the cat sand like material covering the entire battery when you buy
