    Finished.
Again, what a short word for such a delicate and time consuming task especially at the rear bank….

Started putting back all the parts back in place.

As dealing with the liquid gasket, no time ...

Valve clearance adjustment for the Front bank is done.

What a simple short sentence to describe the 2Hr delicate session just for the Front bank….

Double checked the clearance and lock nut torque after finishing the 1st session, re-adjusted until I’m happy, re-torqued and then started to work on the Rear bank.

However, I started to feel cold even all ...

Due to the strong wind, my apple tree in the back garden broke down partially so had to deal with it with the chainsaw.

I think I’ll be working on some of the trees over this autumn….

Hope all of the pigeons left their nest.

Back to working on this NSX.

The valve clearance at the rear bank intake side was way too small.

It was below the min. spec of 0.15mm.

No wonder why the compression data was not great at the rear bank.

Will check the valve timing in detail as well before backing off the valve adjusting nuts and removing the TB.

Again and again and again, check the timing of each cam shafts against the crank shaft and the tension of TB.

There is not enough room to take the photo showing the cam alignment against the marker punched on the plate cover so decided to take the one showing the alignment at the backside.

On early model NSX, when TB is under tension, you may find ...
