    Started washing the engine.
    Front bank looked very clean but still, there was some oil seepage
    around the valve cover gasket at the intake side and at the usual place
    such as the cam shaft disc seal.

    Torque check of head bolt.
    None of them moved on this engine.

    Spent hours just for cleaning the outside of the engine.

    I don’t want to remove the valve covers without cleaning the
    surrounding area first so this process is a must regardless of
    whether I’m taking the engine out of the bay or not.



    As always, there were lots and lots of leaves inside the V-bank area
    around the INJ port.

    After removing all of the corrosion and cleaning the gasket seating area,
    new thermostat installed.
