Not much to report while putting the Eng back in place.





Gave good cleaning inside the eng bay.

3 x new coolant hoses replaced and dressed although you won’t be able to
see them later as they are going to be under the header tank.....




Lots of dust, gunk, etc inside the engine bay so gave good cleaning. ...

It is very unlikely that the engine will be out of the engine bay again
for another 10 years so gave a good cleaning inside there.




Much easier to replace the fuel filter while the engine is out.

The owner accidentally dropped the air pump for the spare tyre
in the water and left it without completely drying it.

When I removed the air pump housing,
there was still some moisture inside.

On the bench, there was no open/short circuit so
applied 12V but nothing happened.
