    Time to inspect the VVIS plates.



    This engine uses the OEM parts (side intake chamber, air box, air filter, TH body)
    for the intake air system so the amount of debris inside the
    intake manifold was minimum.

    Some of the black bits are the edge coating around the VVIS plate.

    In the process of removing the intake manifold.
    Removed the TH body.
    This NSX is DBW model so fairly easy.

    You can see the VVIS plate at the far end and interesting to see
    some markings left inside the chamber possibly from the factory.

    When I checked the VVIS plate for loose screws, I noticed that the TH butterfly was really dirty.
    So, asked the owner to let me clean it while the air box was off the car.
