    Tried to show the amount of blowby mist trapped inside the intake manifold VVIS chamber but not easy to do so using my camera. Probably not enough to cause white smoke at very high rpm but at some point, open the VVIS and remove all blowby oil. Best when doing the INJ cleaning and balancing.
    The screw head of VVIS plates were checked with fibre scope and as far as I can see, ...

    Doing bit of catch up updating the blog.




    As expected, as seen on many NSX, the area around the RR wheel speed sensor head was oxidised and completely stuck inside the hub.
    Had to carefully trim it out from the fitting hole ...

    Removed the audio head unit and found this.

    It's some sort of noise filter on the power line.
    Unfortunately, it won't do much as I don't think the noise is getting through the power line.
    It's more specific to a certain FM frequency (around BBC Radio 2) and fine for CD mode and other radio frequencies.
    More like another device causing interference ...

    As seen on many NSX, lots of black gunk at the TH butterfly.

    On this NSX, I couldn’t even see the tip of the idle adjust screw so
    probably I need to remove it completely off the TH body, clean the port and
    then replace it together with the o-ring.

    The EACV filter was covered in black debris as well.

    Removed TH body as reported earlier, I felt some hesitation.




    This is back side of the TH body.

    Although the TH butterfly edge was not too bad, the body and idle air port
    were covered in thick sticky black gunk.
    Will give it a good wash.

    The idle adjust screw was covered in thick locking
