    Back to working on this engine again.
    As I didn’t work on any mechanical parts for
    a few days, my finger sense won’t be up to the
    level for any processes requiring the delicate touch
    so decided to just clean the internal engine parts
    for the day.








    Full of old oil contaminated ...

    Couldn’t take lots of photos while my hands were covered in oil
    dealing with lots of rocker arms, etc so just the end result.







    All four cam shafts removed, holder plate and cam holders are
    now soaked in the cleaning solution.

    Will inspect the cam shaft in detail later.

    VTEC spool valve and oil pressure sender unit removed.

    Noticed that one of the bolt holding the upper section of the solenoid to
    the valve body was replaced with non-OEM one so may be someone
    replaced the filter in the past.

    Later, I found the bolt inside the pocket of front engine mount.

    Because the bottom side of the bolt is exposed to the outside air,
    quite often, the bolt can get
