    As mentioned several times, in my view, I don’t see the point in
    carrying out the annual service on classic cars based on the service menu
    designed for all Honda cars including the latest models.


    Instead, I always recommend the owner to carry out the Health Check
    once a year and combine it with other services such as Eng Oil/filter change,
    fuel/air filter change, etc.

  2. Eng Refresh Stage 1 + LMA 02

    Just keep preparing for the engine removal….





    Loosen the crank pulley bolt before taking the engine out.
    No drama as I already replaced this crank pulley for the owner in the past and
    followed the specific procedure before re-installing the pulley bolt so it came off
    without any issues.

  3. Preparation 03

    In the process of removing lots of parts in preparation for the Eng Refresh
    as well as for the drive shaft and cooling system overhaul.
    Haven’t decided on taking the engine out yet so removing the parts in a way
    that can cope with both procedures.


    Noticed that the battery was not secured and moving fairly freely behind the

    The battery will be kept on the conditioner for the duration of the service as I want fully charged battery for the compression check after the service.

    Looks like I need to clean this area as there are lots of debris everywhere.

  5. Battery, Spark Plug

    Today, most of the time was used up for dealing with the installation of the optical fibre link to my house and sending out several coolant hoses for another owner who had problem recently.


    So, not much to report on this NSX.

    Already, the new spark plugs have arrived. Super fast delivery.


    Will be used to warm up the engine for the compression check.
