Before start bleeding the CL Hyd system, place the bleeder plug pointing upwards to help the bleeding process.

As the master cyl was primed before the installation, it took just one pedal stroke before the fluid level started to change.

However, super dirty black fluid kept coming out from the bleeder even after lots of pedal strokes with self top up container attached to the reservoir. ...

It is time consuming and could waste lots of brake fluid if the master cyl was completely dry prior to bleeding process.

Therefore, I prefer bench bleeding the master cyl before the installation.

You need to first pour some fluid in the reservoir and then tap on the cyl body many times from different angle as well as tilting the body in a specific angle.

    Nothing new/special here.

    Pressure bleeding the system.

The bleeder screw/plug on each calliper was still shiny silver with no corrosion so the thin coat of silicone grease that I applied worked very well.

Time to pressure bleed the entire system.

The traditional theory of bleeding from the furthest point from the brake master cyl won’t apply for some of the modern cars.

In fact, you can’t even bleed the air on some of the models without activating their ABS modulator.

For most of the latest ABS on NSX, S2000, etc, you will bleed the system from the front side.

    You can still ...
