I think I spent quite long time on the CCU board that I kept working from last week.

Now I’m well behind the schedule (again)……

At this stage, it is very unlikely that I can return this NSX over the weekend but will see….

Needs to think about the future service structure…..

Started to clean the cam holders.

Due to the blowby gas and about 1 year old engine oil, the sticky black oil sludge was quite stubborn even for this low mileage NSX.

Decided to soak them in the cleaner fluid for longer period.

Quite normal for any engines with combination of short distance driving and when the engine oil is nearly 1 year old so nothing to worry.

As this NSX is at very low mileage, the cam lobe coating showed very little wear.

Time to clean the engine and scrape off all these old liquid gasket residue.

    Time consuming ...

As seen on other NSX, the tiny oil jet at the cam holder was trapping dirty black residue.

Another reason to replace engine oil regularly even you cover very little mileage per annum.

    TB removed.

The area behind the TB drive pulley was very clean.

This photo was taken before cleaning anything.

The crank oil seal was also very clean so no need to replace.

    WP removed.

Looks very clean in the photo but ….
