Fantastic job Kaz. Must be very rewarding to get something in that state back to full working order.

    Hi, all.

Thank you for all the kind messages.

I received a lot of them through email, SMS, PM, etc and of course, these comments though the Blog.

I initially thought about heading back to Japan to help others but after discussing the situation with several people, decided to stay and support Japan from here.

While we need immediate support for the people being affected by this disaster, we also need to look for the future.

It is important for those of us who were not directly affected by this to carry on what we were doing to support not only the people and the communication link but also the current and future economy.

I’ll carry on with my business together with supporting UK NSX community so that I can place orders for the parts to Japan.

It’s only a tiny support but it’s one of the way to invest for the future.

Once again, thank you for all of you who sent me the message.

I won’t be able to reply back to each of you as I’m already struggling to cope with the amount of communication from Japan so please accept my gratitude through this comment.

Once again, thank you for everything.

    Regards,
    Kaz

    Hi,warrenw.
    Thank you for your comment.

Yes, here on NSXCB, we also discussed about the sudden huge increase on price of the ABS modulator.

I don't know the reason behind this as ABS upgrade is very popular in Japan (100's of NSX being converted and still on going) and yet the price of the modulator is still the same as before.

I normally order the parts from Japan, US and UK.

For ABS upgrade, please refer to the following link for the parts list, procedure and so on.

    http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/showthread.ph...ormation-Index

From your comment, looks like you own LHD NSX.

If that is the case, you should be able to get hold of most of the parts from US Acura dealer at discounted price.

Please note that my parts list in the above link is for the RHD model.

It is much easier to install the brake pipes on LHD NSX than the RHD one.

For the ABS modulator 57110-SL0-Z03, it is the same between LHD and RHD models.

    I ordered it from Japan.

As of last week, it was JPY80,400 within Japan.

Unlike the Acura dealership, all Honda parts within Japan will be sold to the customer at the retail listed price everywhere in Japan without any discounts.

Only those who has direct relationship with Honda or involved in parts business will be able to purchase it with some discount.

Therefore, if you are buying it over the internet, please allow some extra cost for the delivery, duty/tax and of course the profit for the parts companies.

Please note that it was out of stock for many months and it could be the same when you place an order.

Good luck with your upgrade. One of the best thing you can do on the earlier models.

    Regards,
    Kaz

    Hey Kaz.
thanks for all the blog work you have contributed! I am trying to upgrade my ABS, and it appears that Honda has increaded the price for the modulator by $2000.00USD. Can you provide where you ordered all the pieces to do your upgrade?

Thanks again. I love reading your blogs.
