You are correct, the rear brake/clutch junction block is the most difficult to get at. I used four wrenchs to get the job done. two different flare nut wrenches that were about 15 deg different from each other, a flare nut socket with a long extension and a very small 10mm fuel line wrench. (this was the necessary tool because it was not only small, but one end was 30 deg offset and the other 90 deg offset. I could not imagine this being a tighter place to work on a RHD! I got in on a last order or last search buy SoS and I paid about $200.00 over the orginal price for the entire kit, so not too bad. Chris at SoS will put you on a waiting list as he searches all the Honda parts wearhouses in Japan. That is how I got mine. Good value I figure. Even though I could exercise the old ABS in 30 minutes, I was getting tired of doing it twice a year. Not to mention the sound of that ABS pump.
    Thanks again!

    Hi, warrenw.

Congratulations on completing one of the most important projects for our early model NSX.

From the brake balance point of view, best to combine it with the later spec callipers but even with the original ones, still big improvement compared to the original ABS.

Installation is much easier on the LHD NSX than the RHD one.
You have more space around the Rear brake/Clutch pipe 6 way joints.
Makes big difference on the time being spent for the spaghetti brake pipes installation.

I guess you managed to get all the parts especially the ABS modulator before the sudden huge hike in the price.

Hope you are enjoying your new setup.

    You were very lucky.
Even for the Special Delivery, they normally don’t deliver it on Saturday without paying the extra postage.

Glad you can enjoy the CCU again.

Kaz, I just completed this upgrade myself. I used some of your documentation. Kinda interesting, right to left, left to right comparisons. You can plug those old ABS soleniod connectors together. There are two female and two male of each kind. (cleans it up a bit.)
Thanks for this. It helped answer some questions before I proceeded.

    Hm…..
    The chosen one….

As I want to see, test and feel the product by myself, it may take long time to be the chosen one on anything going onto my NSX.

The longest record for me so far was the decision on the header.

Took me more than 15 years to investigate, test them back to back, feel/see for the sound/welding, etc before making the final decision.

Hope it won’t take too long this time…

I have enormously impressed by the way the Japanese people have handled this astonishing, awful crisis.

I don't think there is another country on earth which would have reacted with such calm, organised dignity.

Invitation email has been sent out to rest of the owners on the list.

There were three owners without the email address so notified them through PM after NSXCB site became accessable tonight.

I had one email error (my mistake) so if you haven't received it yet, please let me know so that I can re-send it.

    Thank you.

Thank you for the nice comment, NSXGB.

Yes, it's very satisfying to be able to recover the functionalities on this level of damaged CCU board.

Just sent it back to the owner so hope he/she can refresh the A/C system in time for the Summer.
