Not sure what you meant Jonathan but I believe it was related to the Brands Hatch event.

Yes, Senninha, that was Day 1, the start of my ownership.

Even in 94, there was still a few months waiting time for the delivery.

My friend bought the standard model after the announcement but then decided to go for the Type-R later.
He introduced me to the same Honda dealer in Tokyo.
Ahead of collecting my NSX, I asked them to place the car on the lift for inspection and as they knew my background, no questions asked.

Out of the factory, mine looked like this.

I still keep contacting the same sales person in the white shirt above after all these years.

The compressor position is shifted about 8mm outward on the 97+ bracket while the A/C idler pulley geometry stayed the same.
Thus, the pulley/CL assy design changed on the 97+ model.

    Extra photo for future reference.

Mounting geometry at the Eng block is exactly the same between the two.

Finally, managed to cover more than 50 miles of test driving session.
Probably the longest time in my life to cover just 50 miles.

Went to the post office before the Easter bank holiday starts and there were long-long queue outside.
By the time I managed getting inside, missed the final collection time of 2pm by just 3min as I saw the van leaving…..
For now, only one collection per day and closes at 3pm.

Still, all packages were moving through their system on Saturday and should be delivered tomorrow.
Thank you for using my services and hope you'll enjoy the nice A/C control again.

I ordered from Rock Auto Sunday afternoon and my parcel arrived today (Thursday), I also selected a slower service to save money, pretty good I thought!
I have one coming from Amayama though, I hope that follows just as quick....

2020 is the first year I haven’t taken the NSX for a drive in memory of the great man.
With the current global situation, I feel I will like many be keeping an eye on the battery conditioner for most of the year ...

On a positive Kaz, you may now have the time to install the rest of the carpet set

Stay safe and well my friend

Hi, Kaz. Based initially on your guidance and more recently my own experience of the AD08’s I’m also running on a recently new set of 08R and would agree they offer a good balance wet or dry ... might be worth making this a sticky post in the appropriate section, especially as its offering a link to your ex-team mate ... rgds Paul

    Hi, Heineken.
Had it for years now and while it had far better vacuum performance (2 stage pump), due to air flow rate issue and mainly the fitting spec difference, it was only used as a backup method.

I wish people made all fittings to the same spec…
Different thread shape/pitch, coupling spec, etc when buying air tools from Japan, UK, US, Europe….
As I only use air tools for very limited applications, it was not high priority to sort it out.

Still, annoying when need using the tool quickly so decided to convert all fittings to single spec this time.
Hence, the backup now became the main method.

Looks like a new vacuum coolant filler system, or just the vaccuum meter attached additionally?
