    Started the OH of drive shafts.
    Not much to report or taking photos during this process as it’s such a messy and greasy tasks….




    1st stage cleaning and inspection done on all 12 rollers.
    No critical markings in the pillow pocket area so moving onto the disassembly and re-planting the 100’s of pin bearings.

    Leaky right side outboard joint.


    All four joints disassembled and 1st stage cleaning process done.

    After thoroughly washing the parts, started to inspect the Left Drive shaft components.




    As expected, due to the wrong offset, there were several unusual markings especially on the outboard joint.

  4. Wheel Speed Sensor and Drive Shaft 04

    Decided to take some rest yesterday and now I'm feeling much better.


    Started to refurbish the drive shaft.


    Due to the excessive corrosion at the wheel speed trigger teeth, outer joint had to be replaced and I bought used complete drive shaft from my friend.
