After reporting the blocked solenoids issue to the owner, we discussed about the possible options.

One of them is obviously to overhaul the existing one and I have done it on many units as well as translated and forwarded the method to another owner.

However, I always need to remind the owner of the original ABS on the following points.

    1. You must exercise the ABS regularly otherwise you ...

Only managed to spend a few hours on this NSX today as I had to carry out MOT testing on my NSX and MX-5 first.

During the Health Check, reported the owner that there was a possibility that the trans case seal might be leaking slightly.

Once again, it’s time of the year to take my NSX and MX-5 for the MOT testing.

For me, MOT in UK is nothing compared to the one in Japan so very easy to pass without any concern.

In fact, one of the most commonly used words on the used car Ad is the ‘Full MOT and Service History’ or ‘Stamp, Document and Receipt to back up the fact’.

Even before starting to flush the ABS, already found a problem.

The reservoir cap seal was not positioned properly and trapped under the cap.

Possibly, some debris and moisture got inside as there were several bits held in the filter.

Fortunately, I had spare cap so replaced it.

Managed to find some time to work on the NSX today.

As mentioned a while ago, instead of cleaning and overhauling the heavily leaked/corroded master cyl, decided to replace it with new one including the reservoir, filter, cap and the fluid level sensor.

Time to check the pushrod clearance while keeping the vacuum at specific rate.
