As seen on many UK based NSX, the drive shaft grease was already broken down and turned into ‘melted coffee ice cream’ resulting in lack of lubrication under heavy load.

On this NSX, the ride height, suspension setup and the tyre/wheel combo are still within the OEM spec so it didn’t put excessive load on the drive shaft but when you change anything on the chassis setup, you must consider the overhaul interval ...

  5. Bose Speaker AMP Service 02

    by , 13-07-2011 at 11:11 PM (Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer)

All three AMPs showed lots of leakage from the capacitors.

One of the door AMP didn’t even make any noise/sound when it was powered up.

As the owner contacted me many months ago and he wanted to have them returned urgently, we agreed that instead of trying to investigate and refurbish this AMP, best to replace it with my spare unit refurbished a few years ago.
