    This is not the first NSX for this owner so based on his previous experience, he wanted to have his CCU board serviced even though he is not having any issues at the moment.

    Very good idea.


    So, started to remove the centre concole.

  2. Please check your carpet

    If you are using some sort of extra carpet or material on the floor, please check it very carefully.

    Unlike the properly designed ones, this one didn’t have any fixing point and thus, sitting under the TH pedal.

    On inspection, it was not allowing the TH butterfly to fully open.


    Depending on the position of the carpet, it could even keep the ...

    The owner had the seat leather treated in the past but looking at the condition, it didn’t look nice.


    Some sort of sticky material was covering the area to hide the issue.


    The owner asked me to apply liquid leather but without removing the sticky bits and inspecting the real condition, it will just hide the issue so recommended the owner to first look at the current status. ...

    The biggest surprise was the poor crimping work carried out by someone in the past.


    It tapped into the wire from the Main Relay connector and attached fuse block.


    The fuse block was positioned in a very strange way that it looked as if it was trying to hold the wire in place.


    Now I understood why.

  5. Main Relay 01

    Started to work on another NSX.


    Once again, it’s the Silver NSX. Somehow it is believed to be the fastest colour but couldn’t feel the difference….

    There were lots of aftermarket parts installed on this one so I knew it will be a time consuming tasks even for a simple job but here we go….
