The Valve clearance adjustment at the Rear bank is finished.

As the temperature dropped significantly today compared to the weekend, decided to check the clearance on all six cylinders again for the 3rd time.

Made minute adjustment at one out of twenty four adjusters.

    Time to reassemble everything.

In the process of adjusting the Valve clearance at the Front.

Double checking the torque with digital wrench.

    Front bank finished.

As I got tired, decided to work on other areas before moving onto the Rear bank.

When dealing with the liquid gasket, I only have a few minutes before it starts the curing process so not much photo taken during the cam shaft installation.

    Nice looking VTEC rocker arms....

Removed the old liquid gasket, new O-ring installed, applied fresh engine oil on cam lobe, journal, rocker arm, etc and degreased the area as much as possible.

I think I spent quite long time on the CCU board that I kept working from last week.

Now I’m well behind the schedule (again)……

At this stage, it is very unlikely that I can return this NSX over the weekend but will see….

Needs to think about the future service structure…..

Started to clean the cam holders.

Due to the blowby gas and about 1 year old engine oil, the sticky black oil sludge was quite stubborn even for this low mileage NSX.

Decided to soak them in the cleaner fluid for longer period.

Quite normal for any engines with combination of short distance driving and when the engine oil is nearly 1 year old so nothing to worry.
