  2. Front Valve Cover 01

    Based on the available time for the day and the weather forecast for tomorrow, decided to work on the Front Valve Cover first and at the end, it was the right decision as I had to spend extra time for cleaning the excessive liquid gasket residue.

    Honda Type-2 coolant. Inside the container, it’s blue.
    Vacuum leak check carried out and left it under vacuum for 30min.

  4. TB Tensioner Bolt Seal

    For some reason, most of the UK based NSX that had TB service in the past would be missing this tiny cheap rubber seal at the TB tensioner bolt head just outside of the TB cover.

    Due to the heat from the surrounding area, by the time for the TB service, it will be deteriorated so you will need to replace it.
    In fact, if you try to remove it, it will very likely to break any way.

  5. Main Relay

    While waiting for the coolant to drain out, started to replace the famous 'Main Relay'.


    By now, even the 2005 final model won’t be safe from this failure.
    You can crank the engine happily but the engine just doesn’t fire up.
    Sometimes, it will fire up but stops almost immediately or for some owners, they even managed to start up the engine and drove their NSX but stranded within 1 mile….
