    Now the engine bay.

Due to the extra heat, normally, the corrosion on the pipes in this area is worse than others so I was ready for the extra time but didn’t expect it to be hours…..

The worst one was this one and most of other pipes were corroded as well.

Polished carefully as I didn’t want to create another leaking point.

    What a long day….

I found myself sleeping on the floor as I was so tired....

Spent hours cleaning so many corroded pipes on the cooling system.

As always, photo doesn’t show you the full extent of the time consuming task of replacing all 23 hoses on NA1, MT, RHD, non-DBW model….

Normally, I find several corroded pipes during the hose replacement service but it’s been a while since last time ...

Before going any further, wanted to carry out the vacuum leak check of the cooling system especially after replacing the WP as well as all of the coolant hoses.

You don’t want to find any leakage at the WP after re-assembling everything as you will need to remove almost everything again to get to the WP.

Three hoses under the centre floor section are done.

    Moving onto the engine bay.

As seen on other NSX, part of the rubber seal at the Thermostat was already deteriorated and gone missing.

Replaced it with the new spec.

While dealing with the TB/WP/Valve service, it is easier to work on the cooling system in parallel so started replacing the coolant hoses.

This NSX is RHD, NA2, DBW, MT model so 21 hoses in total.

During the winter when I work on the cooling system, I normally place the hoses on the oil heater to keep them warm to assist the installation.
