    At the time when the owner arrived at my place, had a quick look at the car and found a trace of coolant leakage at the bleeder plug of the radiator.

  2. Type-R Header Tank Cover

    A few years ago, I replaced all of the coolant hoses, thermostat, header tank, cap, etc on this NSX and the owner now wanted to have the Type-R tank cover.

    So, placed an order to Japan….
    Don’t even ask how much it will cost for just this thin rubber parts….

    You will need to remove all of the fixing bolts, cap, upper hose & tube to install it ...

    Honda Type-2 coolant. Inside the container, it’s blue.
    Vacuum leak check carried out and left it under vacuum for 30min.
    Not a tiny movement so ...
  4. Cooling System 01

    Based on the recent Health Check Service, started to work on another NSX.

    The service menu is something like this;

    • Replace cracked Header tank and unknown condition of the coolant
    • Replace Main Relay
    • Erase old TCS error code
    • Replace damaged TB tensioner bolt seal
    • Re-install Front valve cover properly



    As it takes some time to drain the old coolant, started with the cooling system service. ...

    New thermostat installed.
