    Was having problem accessing my web album but seemed to be improved so hope it will stay like this….



    Time to replace coolant hoses, header tank, tank cap, thermostat, etc at the engine bay.




    Found that one of the fixing bolts for the header tank was cross-threaded so had to repair it.

    While servicing the cooling system, there is not much to report.
    Just keep removing the old parts and replace them with the new ones.

    It’s a very time consuming task. For me, I normally require 8Hrs to complete it.




    Addition to the most time consuming two hoses at the Eng Oil cooler,

    Looked like the Eng Oil Cooler Base was removed long time ago and re-installed without the mating surface being cleaned resulting in heavy oxidation.

    Spent extra time cleaning both the oil cooler and mating surface as much as possible in preparation for the reinstallation.

    After thoroughly cleaned and re-conditioned the mating surface, installed the new Thermostat.





    Not easy to show the amount of hoses replaced but all of them including the ATF cooler ones were done. ...

    While replacing the coolant hoses, there are not much to report. You just keep removing the old hoses and install the new ones.




    Front hoses and water valve removed.
