Thanks for the explanation - an interesting device for sure.

Yes, it can be done as long as there is enough juice left in your flat battery.
As in my next post, I wanted to take video with completely flat battery (like well below 8V) showing when this device failed to even start the jump starting process.

If your battery went flat but the starter still makes really slow cranking sound of like once per second, there should be enough juice left in the car battery.

This device would likely be able to jump start your car by sucking out the remaining power to charge the ultracap, ramp up the voltage by the internal circuit design and discharge massive energy in one go while attempting the cranking.

On the other hand, if the battery was completely dead, you won't be able to get enough power to charge up the ultracap to the required level for jump starting process.

It would simply display the low voltage warning and not even allows you to start the process.

Unless you are in the middle of nowhere, you could use other methods to charge this device and attempt the jump starting process even on the completely dead car battery.

So, as in the 1st post, there are pros and cons between the battery pack and the ultracap device.

    Thanks for the detailed report.
If understood correctly, it would allow for the interesting use case of charging it from a vehicle with an almost dead battery and then jump-starting that same car with it.

madras, get it from NSXGB above or just order 4seasons 33412 through Rockauto.
    Detail here; http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/entry.php?232...r-33412-part-2

Even using FedEx, probably something like GBP25 - 30 including import VAT.

You can use discount code as well; http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/showthread.ph...44841152619337

Rockauto was VAT registered even before Brexit so you pre-pay the tax at the time of order nothing to pay afterwards.

actually I found one option on another thread from compressortech.co.uk - RD19115 rec/drier 90 deg No4 Rove £40.95 - will try them, although any other suggestions for what fits would be helpful.

    Thanks

Hi does anyone know a part that can be fitted for the drier as it is available from Honda but it's £350-400 I think. I did order a hella one but it got cancelled as no longer made.

    Thanks.

Shameful thing was I'd only done 500 miles since my last MoT.
And I thought I was bad last year at around 1k miles!!! I have high flow Cats so always give the car a good run before hand ... plus make a point of using in the week leading up to MOT to blow out the cobwebs ...

    本年も よろしくお願いします。

Thank you for referring my 'Wanted' post of SRS unit and contacting 'drew' at NSX Prime.
Very helpful and he was happy for me to mention it.
I learnt a lot of new things about NSX and Legend SRS unit as well.
Not sure what will be the end result but at least, several options available for the owner.

As for the Bilsteins I'd recommend to mount the lower spring perch in the way it maximizes the clearance to the tire. In the picture and viewed from below I'd turn it by around 120 degrees clockwise which is compatible with the upper mount/holes.
Also check the clearance with the car on the ground and imagine how the tire moves in a sharp corner, it's up to 8 mm. I've seen some cars with problemtic clearance esp. with aftermarket rims and tires. An ET > 45 mm is normally solves the problem.

I'm curious if you are allowed to ask how the spark plugs show misfire?
