    So, decided to use my centre vent as the model for the mould and rebuilt the missing plastic parts as well as repaired all the cracks.


    It sits much better in the centre console now.

    Applied moisturiser to the driver and passenger seat and then wiped off the excess.

    Kept the car under the direct sun to bake the interior parts and raise the cabin temperature.


    Then, started using the A/C to give some thermal shock to check further source of the noise.

    I thought I applied enough felt wool to the A/C Day light sensor but it was not good enough.


    It started to make some faint rattling sound so removed ...

    It is best to keep the side scoop of the dash board removed so that you can make final adjustment to the dash board position until you are happy with the result.


    So, all the parts are now back in place.




    I just couldn’t stand the wind noise so decided to have a look at the weatherstrip.
