    Managed to wash the car, blow dry and carry out short driving session in
    dry condition so happy to start working on the engine.




    Full wrapping of boot, bumper, wing, B-pillar area except the exh tail, fuel lid
    and air intake.

    Again, not much time available so just a quick update.....



    Back to the engine bay.
    Time for the compression check after the Eng Refresh.

    The air cleaner element was placed on top of the bright LED light and
    although it managed to pass through some lights as in the photo,
    it’s too dirty to be re-used so will replace it this time.

  4. Health Check, Annual Service, Cabin Noise, etc 01

    For the installation of the BC coilover kit,
    had to remove the rubber seal under the bonnet.
    As expected, the clips were all dead.
    Replaced all of them.

  5. Eng Refresh Stage 1 + LMA (SoS) – 20

    As reported earlier, there was no gasket used at the
    connection points between the test pipe and back box
    resulting in exhaust gas leakage.

    Also, there was trace of carbon at the donut gasket at
    the swivel joint of the header suggesting that it was leaking
    from both the front and rear joints although
    I couldn’t feel it at the idle rpm.
