    The weather condition was kind to me today and
    with the support from the garage heater,
    there was no more high humidity in the air and
    was happy to start the cam shaft installation.









    New O-ring under No.1 cam holder.

    It was raining, raining and raining.....
    Almost all day......

    And it was fairly mild so the thermostat for
    the heater inside the garage didn’t trigger.

    As a result, I didn’t like the humidity of the air when
    assembling the internal engine parts especially
    around the cam shafts.

    The mirror finish of cam journal was fogged up even
    with thin coat of oil film so
    decided not to install the cam shafts

    Overhauling the VTEC Spool valve.








    Removed the old liquid gasket and
    cleaned the cam holder to this level.

    Lots and lots of blowby contaminated oil inside the oil pockets.
    Going to take some time cleaning the rear bank.
