    Removed the audio head unit and found this.

    It's some sort of noise filter on the power line.
    Unfortunately, it won't do much as I don't think the noise is getting through the power line.
    It's more specific to a certain FM frequency (around BBC Radio 2) and fine for CD mode and other radio frequencies.
    More like another device causing interference ...

    Eng oil was really black and there were lots of oil mist at the rubber joint
    between the TH body and the air box so the PCV valve may need replacing.
    It was very dirty any way.

    Despite the above fact and although it will still require extra time cleaning the
    internal parts, the rear bank was not too bad.

    Started opening the engine.




    As expected, very clean TB back plate with no melted potting from
    the CYL/CRK sensor.




    Even at this low mileage and very late model, still the TB tension

    One of the most important task and makes my Engine Refresh service unique
    compared to the standard service by others.


    The cleaning process.


    Unless you remove the old liquid gasket, clean and create oil free surface,
    you won’t be able to make tight oil seal around the cam holders and cam disc
    resulting in oil seepage later.

    There were white liquid gasket from the factory and black one used by

    However, the TB tension was way too low.
    If I wanted, I could have twisted the existing TB 180deg.
    Didn't want to put too much tension so stopped at 90deg in this photo.
