  1. Test Driving Session, Reset ECU

    Adjusted the tyre pressure to 33/40psi at 5degC before going out for the test driving session.


    Please adjust this later depending on your preference and driving/environment conditions.


    The rear wheel nuts were torqued at 108Nm.


    Please re-torque them once you got back to your place due to alloy wheel characteristic.


    Went out for test driving session, activated the ABS many times while the tyre was still ...

  2. TH Butterfly Cleaning, TH Cable

    While the engine was cold, sprayed the cab/injector cleaner several times inside the intake manifold, idle air port, TH butterfly, PCV and wiped the TH body internal wall.

    As seen on other NSX, it was quite dirty with blowby gas.


    Started the engine and sprayed the cleaner many times into the idle air port, Intake manifold and PCV.


    Should be enough...

  3. TH Butterfly

    The owner mentioned that the idle rpm was stable but not quite.


    I’ll be cleaning the TH butterfly for the owner this time.


    Removed the air box for the preparation.

    As mentioned to the owner previously, looks like our small friend visited this area in the past and enjoyed chewing the rubber bits.


    No damage to the wire so good news.

  4. Spare O2 sensor

    Finally, one of the package from US has arrived. It’s the spare O2 sensor for the earlier model.

    I have my own policy of not dealing with any services requiring the removal of header or exhaust manifold without having access to the spare O2 sensor.

    In order to replace the Oil pan, I need to remove the OEM Front exhaust down pipe and although I don’t need to touch the Front O2 sensor, I still prefer having the spare ...
