    Goodridge brake line is so much flexible than the black aftermarket one that came on this NSX.
    While removing the old one, not only the front left side but also found that the right side one was also damaged.

    What a dirty callipers and brackets. I don’t know what kind of pad material was used or in what driving environment they went through but so much thick debris was sticking everywhere around the calliper body.

    The FR brake pipe fitting was overtightened and heavily corroded. Looking at the angle of the pipe,
    there is a chance that it was somewhat forced/cross threaded during the installation of the aftermarket brake line.

    I just hope I can get it loosened without damaging the fitting. Time for the acetone/ATF

    Managed to drill out one of the bolt holding the brake line bracket at the original position.
    Looking at the surface of the other bolt, I didn't have enough confidence in driving the drill square through the remaining bolt body so decided to leave it as it is. Not a problem as at the other side of the hub carrier, I re-installed the rubber protector around the brake line ...

    that things just don’t go as planned.....



    Whenever I work on the brake or inside the wheel arch, I normally
    power wash the area before starting the service.
    However, for this NSX, the paintwork, wheel, tyre and wheel arch looked
    very clean even after the test driving session so decided not to wash it.

    Bad idea.
