    The compression check after the Eng Refresh.
    I already knew it’s going to be good because the engine sound was so smooth and with the effect of new LMA, so quiet and synchronised tappet sound.

  2. Annual Service, Health Check, Brake OH 20

    Wanted to make some changes in the service process so decided to finish the A/C CCU circuit board.
    It's the later spec light green colour board with all caps in brown sleeve Nichicon PR series.

    There was only minimum leakage at C22.

    As expected, DM10 and 11 had to be removed in order to check the
    nearby tracks and clean the area.

    These old components have to be carefully removed without breaking them
    as they are no longer manufactured.
    They are not RoHs compliant.

  4. A/C CCU Board service 01

    While carrying out the Eng Refresh, another owner sent in his A/C CCU board
    for preventative maintenance.

    He wanted to clean his cabin temperature sensor due to lots of dust
    trapped at the aspirator fan (and possibly making annoying noise) and
    although he was not experiencing noticeable issues with his A/C system,
    he thought it would be a good idea to have the CCU serviced while
    the centre console was off.
