    Having problem with Google+ Photo today so had to use different method in linking the photo files....

    Hope the link is active even when accessed in the future.....
    May need to re-link them again when Google is up and running properly......

    So, the eng/gbox is out of the bay.


    Took extra hours due to heavily corroded bolts/nuts/etc around the exhaust and parking brake sections but things should speed up once getting to this stage.



    There were several loose bolts ...

    Eng is already out of the bay and I’m about to start washing it so
    doing another catch up updating the blog......




    I don’t think I will be re-using these banjo bolt and bleeder plug at
    the brake caliper.

    The parking brake cable was stuck inside the L-shaped bracket on the
    brake caliper.
    And the two bolts holding this bracket were heavily corroded so
    I had to be really careful not to sear them off.

    I’ll replace them with the new one on installation.
    If I have the time, will try separating the cable from the bracket
    ...

    Have been working on another NSX for several days now so
    catching up on updating the blog.

    The service menu is the Eng Refresh + LMA and based on the previous
    investigation on this engine, it requires the head gasket job as well.
    Ideally, I wanted to combine as many services as possible while the
    engine is out of the bay but it is important to discuss the priorities with
    the owner as well.
