    As you may have already experienced, sooner or later,
    your gas damper/strut at the boot lid or the rear glass hatch will
    get weaker and no longer be able to hold the object in the air.


    This NSX has an aftermarket rear wing that is quite heavy

    As I don’t like working on the engine while the damper is too weak to hold the hatch glass opened, decided to start replacing the dampers first.

    You could recharge the gas if you want to but getting the new one from Japan is also a good option.


    It comes with the stud bolt as well.


    Now I don’t need to hold the Eng Hatch glass with my special padded bloom ...
