  1. A/C CCU Board service 02

    by , 08-02-2014 at 12:53 PM (Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer)

As expected, DM10 and 11 had to be removed in order to check the
nearby tracks and clean the area.

These old components have to be carefully removed without breaking them
as they are no longer manufactured.
    They are not RoHs compliant.

  2. A/C CCU Board service 01

While carrying out the Eng Refresh, another owner sent in his A/C CCU board
    for preventative maintenance.

He wanted to clean his cabin temperature sensor due to lots of dust
trapped at the aspirator fan (and possibly making annoying noise) and
although he was not experiencing noticeable issues with his A/C system,
he thought it would be a good idea to have the CCU serviced while
    the centre console was off.

Went out for the final test driving session.

Activated the ABS in order to adjust the fluid level.
Again, noticed that the ABS pump would kick in just after
once or twice the ABS was activated.

The accumulator is indeed loosing its high pressure capacity.

Driving the car without the A/C in this warm condition is not nice.....

Once again, really nice feedback from the new coilover kit.

  5. A/C Evapo Cleaning

    by , 06-03-2013 at 10:27 PM (Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer)

Can’t move the car without brake and since re-booked the
alignment service for next week, decided to change the
    order of remaining services.

The A/C evaporator was fairly clean with just surface dust but
when applied compressed air to the bottom of the case,
all sorts of things came out.
