Sorry for asking questions on such an old blog entry but do the company's website is a little limited on information.
Do the floor mats come with the "NSX" label/sticker when ordering them or has it to be added during configuration?

Same thing used on the A/C drier/receiver when R12 was still in use.
There was a melting safety pluig at the drier and it was using the low temperature melting solder.
In case the system pressure got abnormally high and the pressure switch failed to cut off the compressor, the safety valve would melt under high temperature releasing the high pressure refrigerant.
Obviously, not environment friendly so you won't see it on the drier for the R-134a or later spec system.

Interesting information, I was not aware that the solder point is a safety feature.

didn't realise there was a second switch for the cruise control, always assumed it just sensed the brake light signal....looks like the switch had developed a little resistance on one contact and cascaded from there eventually making enough heat to melt things.....

    Dear Kaz,

Despite the hardship during the last years, let me say thank you very much for all your support. The worldwide NSX community gave me stability when everything else was falling apart (including some additional family topics). Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

    All the best from Germany

Back to normal operation for the email.

Replied back to all of the messages received since Saturday inclding the ones through WtatsApp, FB, etc.

If you didn't hear from me by now, there is a chance that I may have lost your message when recovering from the disk image although all of the mail boxes have been backed up regularly on several different disks so should not happen.

Please re-send your message if you didn't get any reply.

    Thank you.

Finally, had a chance to take some photo.

So, on the OEM Denso 10PA15C compressor body with the OEM field coil, mounted the 4Seasons #47598 pulley and the pressure plate set.

This engine has the 97+ mounting bracket.

As you can see, the crank pulley, idler and the #47598 pulley lined up perfectly.

    Thus, #47598 is for the 97+ offset/bracket.

Impressive that the unit could be restored despite not powering up any more - my success rate in these cases is currently 50 %. It's really advisable to get them repaired before that state is reached.

The smaller capacitors are an interesting type - they look like surface mounted by that's probably not the case. Would you like to tell a little bit more about it?

It's an interesting acid damage pattern - just as if the acid had crept along large areas of the board not just near the capacitors. Maybe it was stored upright for some time?

Thank you for the compliments, Heineken.
Will be using your gauge calibrator very soon.
