Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Started to work on another NSX.
The service menu is to carry out the Health Check (no annual service included), Cooling system refresh including
the Koyo Radiator, drive shaft OH, aftermarket steering wheel installation, etc.


As I never carried out the mechanical service on this NSX (just A/C CCU service and Health Check several years ago....),
I'm prepared ...

Intake manifold back in place together with Eng Loom.
Some of the bolts were the wrong spec so looks like someone worked on the
engine in a hurry.

Eng Refresh Stage 1 + LMA

The extra parts that I ordered recently to Japan
just arrived so I can now fit the header, etc.

The NA2 spec exh manifold gasket.
Compatible with NA1 engine and it has slightly larger
hole diameter so better flow than the original NA1 one.

At #1 and #3 INJ base, noticed some sort of marking.
#2 was dry. It's the 2nd photo ...

Just keep removing the parts in preparation for taking the engine out.








Once the engine is out, it’s not easy to apply huge torque at the
crank pulley bolt so loosen it at this stage.
