After spending hours, finally, managed to move R & L drive shaft spline from the hub.

I had to apply so much pressure using the hydraulic puller that I thought I would break the tool.

I used this puller so many times but never had to apply this amount of force in the past.

As I need to have maximum space especially on the left drive shaft to pop out the inboard joint, I’m ...

Started to work on another NSX.

Before bringing the NSX to my place, the owner tried to take out the drive shaft by himself but he couldn’t remove the spindle nut.

It seemed that at least one of them was never removed in the past.

Based on my advice, the owner took his NSX to HGV garage and asked them to remove the spindle nut using their heavy duty tool.

Apparently, they ended up applying more ...

Decided to take some rest yesterday and now I'm feeling much better.

Started to refurbish the drive shaft.

Due to the excessive corrosion at the wheel speed trigger teeth, outer joint had to be replaced and I bought used complete drive shaft from my friend.

It looked fine from outside but when I opened the Inner Joint and inspected it, one of the roller was cracked.

    Lots of corrosion everywhere.

During my Health Check service, it was noticed that the MTF was leaking from the trans case seal at the Left drive shaft.

  5. Wheel Speed Sensor and Drive shaft 01

Once again, it’s time to refurbish the drive shaft.

This NSX has strange high frequency brake pedal kick back almost every time when the car was just about to stop.

Last time, after replacing the Right drive shaft and the RR wheel speed sensor, the owner confirmed that it got better but still not quite right.

We were expecting this as the Left drive shaft and RL wheel speed sensor were untouched.

    At that ...
