    Hi, all.

    I have been receiving similar questions/enquiries regarding my services from
    many owners or potential owners so I would like to share my reply to them here.


    First of all, I don’t carry out so called ‘pre-purchase inspection’ for anyone.
    This is to be fair with the seller as well as for the buyer.
    I’m quite sure I’ll find several issues on any NSX and also

    New O-ring under the #1 cam holder at both front and rear banks.







    No time to take photo while dealing with the liquid gasket and tightening lots of bolts at the cam holder ...

    Started to work on another NSX to carry out my Engine Refresh Stage 1 service.




    Based on my parts list posted here and after exchanging several emails, the owner hand carried the parts back from US.

  4. Eng Refresh Stage 1 - 11

    The new bolts with red sealant for the WP and thanks to my local Honda garage,
    the missing dowel pin was delivered.

    There is no point in re-using these bolts. Considering its price, it will take more
    time and cost to clean them thoroughly, then apply the liquid gasket one at
    a time than to replace all of them with the new ones.

    Installed the new rubber seals on the TB front and rear covers.

    Honda upgraded the cover design after finding some of the original design with
    scratch marking from the cam pulley.
    The heat and installation method caused the cover to warp.

    I normally keep 1 set of upgraded design at my place in case I have to replace
