Started to install the new coolant hoses.
Normally, although it’s a time consuming task, there is not much to
report because you just keep installing the new parts.

However, on this occasion, I found an issue with the new hose.

While waiting for the arrival of the parts,
decided to start removing the existing coolant hoses.

Replacing all of the coolant hoses, thermostat, header tank, tank cap, etc are

If re-using the two upper bolts of the oil cooler, one should apply liquid gasket to the bolt thread on installation but there was no sign of it on them….

Looked like the Eng Oil Cooler Base was removed long time ago and re-installed without the mating surface being cleaned resulting in heavy oxidation.

Spent extra time cleaning both the oil cooler and mating surface as much as possible in preparation for the reinstallation.
