Clutch Master/Slave Cyl

    Unlike the Brake master cyl, CL one is not that difficult to bleed the air if you know
    the internal valve structure.


    Just prime the master cyl with the pedal down first and then lift the pedal and start pressure bleeding.

    All the extra parts from Japan arrived so from today, I can speed up the process.





    Removed the CL master cyl and even I knew it was already leaking,
    quite surprised to see the amount of fluid held inside the rubber cap
    at such low mileage.

    Before installing the Slave Cyl onto the GBox, I normally bleed the system first while keeping the bleeder screw upwards.
    Obviously, you need to hold the slave piston in place with something before applying any pressure.

    So, started to remove the existing CL Hyd parts and as suspected, the Slave Cyl was leaking.

    The owner commented that from time to time, he was having difficulty on selecting gears on downshift only.
    He didn’t feel any issues for selecting 1st or Reverse gear from standstill and no issues with upshift.

    I suggested the owner that it is very unlikely to be Clutch (CL) Hydraulic (Hyd) System related but the owner wanted to replace it any way as there was a sign of leakage at the Slave Cyl and start from there.
