    Before removing the TB, measured the existing valve clearance.

    Out of 24 adjustments, only 7 of them were within the spec. Rest of them were all too wide.

    Apart from one of the inlet valve, remaining three adjustments were just a bit too wide at #3cyl so all valve stems were fine.

    As I already knew about the head gasket issue, didn’t want to
    warm the engine up in preparation for the compression check and obviously,
    no test driving session.




    Instead, decided to carry out cold leakdown test.

    Finally, all of the cam holders were cleaned to this level with
    remaining of old liquid gasket removed thoroughly.
