    Not much to report while placing everything back in place and preparing for the fireup.

    Always annoying dealing with the issues caused by the previous mistakes long time ago.

    Also, more and more the parts quality is getting worse even straight out of the bag.

    Before the parts price increase in Japan from
    New Year’s day, placed the order to Japan for several owners and
    already received some of the packages.
    Still waiting for others to be delivered.

    They are already in UK but just held at the UK Customs as
    I believe there are thousands of boxes waiting to

    As in my previous post below, it is always important to test the new ABS modulator before the installation.

    Quite a while ago, another owner decided to upgrade his original ABS to the latest spec so we checked the stock level and no surprise, it was on back order with no delivery date available.


    Since then, the situation improved ...

    From time to time, the accuracy and the reliability of new parts are not up to one’s expectation. For example, there has been some failed units reported on the latest ABS modulator even from new.


    Therefore, it is always important to test it before the installation.
    You don’t want to install and upgrade to the latest ABS only to find the failure at the control board…
