    One of the most important task and makes my Engine Refresh service unique
    compared to the standard service by others.


    The cleaning process.


    Unless you remove the old liquid gasket, clean and create oil free surface,
    you won’t be able to make tight oil seal around the cam holders and cam disc
    resulting in oil seepage later.

  2. Eng Refresh Stage 2 – Prep 01

    Started to work on another NSX.

    The service menu is the Engine Refresh Stage 2.

    It’s 3.2L LEV latest model and it already has later spec LMA so
    no need to replace them.
    Still, will overhaul the VTEC spool valve and
    replace its filter and gasket.

    For this service menu, regardless of the condition,
    the CRK/CYL sensor will be replaced as a pre-caution and

    started the vacuum leak check on the cooling system.

  5. Final Touch

    Carried out the test driving session with heater setting at 32degC.
    Not great under this lovely hot weather.
    Activated ABS several times and then adjusted the coolant and ABS fluid level.

    Reset the ECU and confirmed that no further adjustment was required.
