    Preparation for the compression check
before start of the Engine Refresh.

So much debris even under the IG coil cover so
had to blow them away before removing the IG coils.

Surprised that these spark plugs were not

Although I managed to push back all pistons at the front calipers,
    the movement was not consistent.

And as expected, there is no way I can re-use them……

None of the caliper slider pins were seized so it looked like someone serviced them in

During the annual service, I always recommend the owners to carry out the
engine compression check to keep eye on the condition of the engine.

I carried out Engine Refresh on this engine about 2 years ago and
at that time, I was really pleased to see the identical compression
result across the cylinders after the service.

Interesting to see the condition of this engine after 2 years.

included the compression check as a part of the service menu.

I’m too scared to deal with the spark plugs while the engine is hot and
also I have no idea on what was done to them in the past so I always
remove them while the engine is cold.

Then, re-install them to warm up the engine in preparation for the compression check.

Once warmed up, I have to remove the spark plugs again

The rubber cover for the oil pressure warning sensor was not installed properly and already torn off.
Looked like the sensor boss was also rusted.
